Thank you, Maria, you're very kind!😊 You can use any type of clay, but the process of sculpting will be slightly different. I like polymer clay better because it is durable after baking, you don't have to wait for it to air dry, and it is easier to correct mistakes during the sculpting process. There is no one right way, you need to try different types of clay to understand what works for you. Experiment, enjoy the process and have fun creating.❤️

What type of cernit clay?

I have been sculpting and painting figures for the past 2 years which has caused a lot of floaters in my eye ...do you also get floaters doing detailed work?..what kind of environment should I have to do these kind of detailed sculptures?
I'm sorry to hear you've had to deal with this problem. So far, my eyes haven't been affected by the sculpting. Perhaps you could try using a desk magnifier lamp
Maybe try to actively practicing looking at things far away and taking breaks?

WOOW!!!!! Such awsome precision and talent.....The acorn reminds me of the Duggard girl in California that was kidnapped and found after 18 years......an acorn is what she grabbed before she was abducted. Then she had acorn necklaces made as a token of being rescued.

Amazing work! What’s the purpose of applying the Fimo liquid gel to the tinfoil near the beginning of your process? Does it help the clay adhere better?
